#asktheexpert I have made a porridge powder for my 7 month old baby. Below steps I followed 1) rice wash well and soak for 20-30 mins 2)Dry for 4-6 hrs,Roast for 10mins until it turns puffy 3) moong dal, wash and dry for 4-6hrs 4) Roast for 10mins in low flame 5)Dry roast almond, pista and cashew 6) Cool and grind into fine powder (sieved) 7) Add water and make a porridge (time taken 15mins) My doubt here is I have not dry, roasted moong dal until, golden brown. Will that cause any digestion issue for babies.

A. But you have roasted it so it will not cause any indigestion and also it is one of the lightest lentils to digest so don’t worry about it take care
