#AskTheExpert I have caught a bad cold. I have 10 day old daughter. How do i ensure that i dont pass it on while breast feeding?

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello good morning !! Breast feeding and physical contact pass on cold to baby Instead using medication (as you are Breast feeding) do steaming twice a day. If possible you can express out milk and feed through bottle. Avoid head bath and foods that cause cold(banana, orange,kiwi,curd). Mix one pinch ajwain powder with turmeric powder each and rub on upper scalp to reduce cold.
