#AskTheExpert I have a 10day old newborn girl.. I have 2 queries. 1. her cord fell off day before yesterday. since then it has been bleeding occasionally. I have been applying Neosporin powder and betadine liquid . is it okay? 2. Today there has been a white mucus discharge from her vagina. what is it and should I be concerned?

Yes you should continue using neaphorin powder It will help to dry the area fast. Rather than this after birth one time the white discharge is totally normal but if it continues regularly then in such case you should definitely consult with your paediatrician about it because topic and advise you will after examining baby
