Q.

#AskTheExpert I had a C-section delivery in Nov. I have lost all my pregnancy weight and I am back to my pre pregnancy weight. however, the tummy area seems a bit bulging. When can I start exercise / yoga? what is recommended to reduce belly fat ? I am exclusively breast feeding my daughter.

A. As you ve completed 5months you can start with light workout, yoga etc for belly fat it takes time , with proper lifestyle management and regular activity it will be reduced

A. Continue breast feeding your child that would be the best thing to do for it .. Apart from that it is recommended to wear a tummy belt at least initially for 1 to 2 months after your delivery whether it is C-section or normal because that helps a lot in not making your tummy sag which normally is coming so as of now you cannot go for any kind of exercise till the time your stitches do not heal completely
