Q.

#AskTheExpert I delivered my baby through c section on nov 22. I have a very low milk supply for my baby. she drinks her milk for atleast 30 to 40 minutes each side but even after that she keeps on demanding for feed. What can i do for that?????

A. Hello mom actually the quantity and the quality of the breast milk is difficult to measure. Hence when exclusively breastfeeding, it is always advisable to feed on demand. You would feel a heaviness in your breast when the milk production is full in your breast and once the baby has done his feeding, you would feel a lightness also track the babies weight gain. Try to massage your breast regularly after every feed and also take healthy nutritious food preferably before baby feed time as that would help in good milk production.

A. after her birth baby did not properly urinate due to that her jaundice point increased and i was suggested to give fromula milk for her. Only after i started with her jaundice decreased. still im continuing her with formula , as my milk supply is low.
