Q.

#asktheexpert I am covid +ve and doc advised to take fabiflu. when can I resume breastfeeding after completing fabiflu course.

A. As of now covid infection isn’t an indication to stop breast feeding. Very limited information is available related to it. So once you stop the medication you can usually resume your breast feeding.

A. Madam, some people are telling fabiflu remains in body for long time that's why I am asking how many days after stopping the medicine shall I start breastfeeding again?

A. you should consult with your doctor regarding this once as he will guide you better and suggest you accordingly. meanwhile you can express your milk and feed through feeding bottle.
