#AskTheExpert I am a mother of a 3 week old premature baby.. I am breastfeeding him..but I don't know whether he is getting enough or not.. please tell me how to know if he is full?

A. hello , look for baby weight gain.. in first month baby usually gain around 30 grams per day..first 3 to 5 days there might be weight loss.. if you see signs like baby hands are open and relaxed at the end. some gargling or swallowing sounds shows baby is full.. you may feel your breasts lighter at the end of the feeding..
