#AskTheExpert I am a mom to 3months old baby. I had Ceasaran delivery and my wound just got healed and skin is yet to cover the wound. when can I take Covid 19 vaccine? will vaccine effect my baby in any way as I breast-feed her?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello parent your ki design new born baby as per the current Indian guidelines lactating and pregnant mothers can be safely vaccinated with covid vaccination so you can proceed with it.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom. Yes u can take covid vaccine. There is no problem in that. It is safe for the breast feeding mothers to take covid vaccine. U can also continue to breast feed ur baby after that. Take care
