#AskTheExpert i am 6 weeks pregnant mam when we done our first scanning only gestational and yolk sac was seen no fetal pole dr has told us to repeat the scan after 10 days.. Can you just tell what is the reason is there anything to worry

A. Sometimes it will be an early ultrasound scan and that’s why the fetal pole may not be visible and sometimes it could have not formed at all. We just have to wait and seeWrite Your Answer Here
