#AskTheExpert I am 18 weeks pregnant. I had cervical length of 3.1 cm on 12 weeks and done cervical cerclage. Do I need to follow complete bed rest till delivery...?

A. No, not needed for total bed rest. But yes, you need to be very careful and slow During all your movements, just try to avoid traveling and heavyweight lifting. have regular follow-up

A. Looking at the current situation what you are mentioning yes it would be better if you take a total bed rest because it’s a very early pregnancy so kindly go ahead with what you are doctors advising and if you need to know any further on this you have to actually follow the instructions given by the doctor
