A. Madam These things are way too much critical to respond to without understanding the exact situation it would be better to consult your doctor after proper checkup reports and everything only they will be able to guide you best on this issue

Q. #AskTheExpert Hello doctor I'm 29 weeks pregnant and my scan report showed " cisterna magna appeared enlarged measuring 15mm. A detailed neuro sonogram was done for the fetus and confirmed that there were no other structural abnormalities. In case of isolated mega cisterna magna, the prognosis is good and the fetus has a normal neuro developmental outcome ". I also have gestational diabetics. please advice what can be done for the cisterna magna and what impact it will have on the baby on future.

Q. Hi maam , my wife is 29 weeks pregnant. Anomaly scan report of my baby after 20 weeks was very good. There was no cisterna magna dilation. Everything was normal. But present ultrasono report of my baby after 29 weeks , it showing that giant cisterna magna dilation is 15.99mm.
