A. There is not much you can do to increase the weight of a 4 months baby, except to feed milk fully and frequently. But, from 5-6 months onwards, you can introduce semi solid foods in the diet like lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, carrot and pear puree, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc. It will help in gaining the weight gradually.
