#asktheexpert How to stop breastfeeding my baby? She is 19 months old. I want her to stop breastfeeding.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. initially stop daytime feeding followed by gradual reduction of the night time feeding. once a baby is ok with this change you can entirely stop giving the breast milk. don't make it a sudden change make it a gradual change

mam ,I always advise mothers to prefer gradual weaning.
it is good for you and your child health too.
so gradually make feeding sessions short.
offer food before your child asks for feeding.
try to make your child sit to take meal with whole family because children learn more from imitating their parents.
