#asktheexpert How to increase appetite of my 4 years old He used to drink milk but now stopped Please suggest alternative for milk

A. hi to increase your child appetite: encourage your child to do physical activities. use natural herbs and spices like ginger, garlic, ajwain seeds etc while making food for your child it will work as natural appetizer. maintain proper gap between meal and snacks time. keep offering different dishes with different taste and different texture. make food presentation attractive for example use carrots beetroot palak etc to make your child food more colorful. it will help to encourage your child to take interest in food. for example as your child doesn't like to drink milk, offer it with different flavors like kesar milk, fig milkshake, dates milk, milk with honey etc. set good example by drinking milk with your child although if child doesn't like then offer food like ragi, nuts, paneer, curd, ghee etc which are good source of calcium.
