#asktheexpert how to clean my babies ears....I have a doubt whether water goes into babies ear while bathing so I was scared and she asks me to put my hand on her ears while sleeping...kindly suggest what to do

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy4 years agoA. hello do not use ear buds.. Wipe behind each ear and around the outside of each ear. Do not stick anything inside baby’s ears, not even ear buds. Use a washcloth to clean earwax from the outer ear. Do not try to clean wax from the ear canal using any ear-buds. Refer to these safe tips to clean baby earwax instead. The key is to be gentle.
