Each feed lasts 15-30 minutes (both breasts). Signs of enough milk: 6+ wet diapers per day, regular stools, and good weight gain. Formula Feeding A newborn usually drinks 60-90 ml (2-3 oz) per feed every 3-4 hours. Daily total: 400-700 ml (13-24 oz), increasing as per baby's growth.
