#AskTheExpert how long can the infant have mucus in the nose? My son is 18 days old , and I see thick white mucus in his nose, he frequently sneezes and rarely coughs.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. steam to be given tk baby. Some running nose or phlem is due to the common cold and flu due to season change . Steam along with other home remedy like maintain baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .
