Q.

#AskTheExpert how do we get to know if the baby is getting adequate breast milk? He is now 2 months. Also I would like to know the food that can help in increasing milk supply. can you help?

A. weight gain and urine output it should be around 6 to 8 Times a day Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

A. hi if a child is gaining enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day, looks happy and active ,it means that your child is getting enough milk. mam ,to increase your breastmilk supply,you can take fennel seeds water,jeera water, drumsticks soup , ajwain seeds water etc. you can take veggies like sweet potatoes, bottleguard , Spinach which can help you to increase your breastmilk supply
