A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common. Suptplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be gifven for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. U Just have to measure the weight of the child every month if you see that your child is gaining a minimum gain of 400 g everyone that means it is going to be appropriate for the child and the breastfeeding that you are providing to the child is sufficient for healthy weight and that’s the only way to figure it out
