#AskTheExpert #hmfd My 2 years kid has got rashes under foot and in palms and she been continuously itching forever and had to keep it wet by applying oil else she will not stop itching. We've 4 months old kids and hmfd seems to be contagious so worried a bit. Any help would be highly appreciated

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Yes it seems to be hand foot and mouth disease. it is self limiting disease which will be fine within 7-10 days. u need to take antibiotics by consulting your doctor for the same. take care and all the best
