#asktheexpert hlw sir my question is that does thyroid hormone affect breastmilk supply or not? Pls reply ๐Ÿ™

A. Hello mom yes it has its effects on breast milk, as mainly the moms having hypothyroidism untreated low levels of thyroid levels would cause decreased levels of milk supply.

Absolutely not it is not a contagious thing that it is going to affect your child with your breastfeeding or anything so donโ€™t worry about it itโ€™s a completely normal thing for women to suffer with thyroid or sugar during the time of their pregnancy or even after their delivery but it does not affect your child
