#AskTheExpert hlo sir my boy is 7 month old bt he mostly caught fevr and chest problem tell me something wt should i do now i m worried abt him

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicined which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.f
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Small babies they catch infection due to the low immunity which will be fine as baby grows up.. Give healthy and nutritious diet to boost the. Give freshly prepared homemade food to ur baby.
