#asktheexpert HI, This is about myself I delivered my son on February 26th (Normal Delivery) bleeding has stopped after 20 days approx. However, it starts again and again. Generally, I got bleeding for 2 -3 days in April and May as well. Please suggest it is normal or not

A. It is totally normal Periods after delivery may occur anytime in between one year and may remain irregular for a few months no medication is needed for that you just need to maintain good nutrition along with adequate water intake and use proper contraceptive method to avoid unwanted pregnancy

A. It's possible to get secondary postpartum haemorrhage, which is abnormal or heavy bleeding between 24 hours and 12 weeks after giving birth. It's often associated with an infection, and sometimes with part of the placenta remaining in the womb . Symptoms include: Feeling shaky, feverish, and generally ill.
