#asktheexpert Hi sir, My son is 7 months old.. he ditched his finger in his eyes and it becomes red in a left corner eye.. will it become normal or need to have any paediatric eye drops to get it healed. thanks

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again. use hygienic cloth as wcell as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection . do not use any drops witout medical consultation

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello in a day or two it will be normal and nothing to worry but any discomfort it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly which would be better and also safe and nothing to worry about
