#AskTheExpert Hi Sir, my baby is of 15months, having motions from 2-3 days, sometimes we observe mucus in motions. Can you plz advise, what we should do?

The intestines naturally secrete mucus to help stool pass more effectively through the intestines. Sometimes, a baby may pass some of this mucus in their stool without any underlying condition. The mucus can look like slimy streaks or strings.
