#AskTheExpert Hi Sir, my baby is 4 days old and after 48hr bilirubin was 8.4 His weight was after 48hr 2.68kg do we need to give him light therapy

A. Hello ma’am I feel you should be going for phototherapy because till the time it does not reduce down to the number of five it’s somewhere higher side only so it would be best for you to consult your doctor if your doctor advises you to go for phototherapy go ahead otherwise start keeping your son into indirect sun for at least 30 to 40 minutes on an every day basis
