#asktheexpert Hi sir/madam my baby born on 25/5/2023. his last vaccine 14weeks done on 08/08/2023. when can i go for 6months' vaccine? plz tell me from_______ to ______. (in hospital they denoted as 25/12/2023, bt in that time he is in 7 months..thn i called them they said to come after 25th Nov) what can i do??? so much of confusions?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. the vaccine is at the end of 6 months and start of 7th month flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 7 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children. flu vaccine can be started at any age. best time for flu vaccine is usually just before rainy season on set

You get it done in the November sometimes there can be little bit of confusion so you get it done still if you have a doubt about it you kindly check with your paediatrician they will be able to clear all your doubts but as of now you can get it done in November November itself
