#AskTheExpert Hi Sir I have a baby girl , she is now 1 month and 4 days old . she has stopped passing stool from last 2 days . what should we do ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which might be causing allergy and apply only coconut oil over the body and the problem still continues beyond one week then meet your doctor and go for oil application for 5 times every day

Please advise one more thing . My baby had rashes all over her body . small , fine rashes . is that also normal for new born baby ?

Stool- it is very common and normal for small children who are less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour of stool
