#AskTheExpert hi sir, i am having fever for last 2 days... yesterday i taken Azithromycin dolo and montac lc....i hve 3 months baby ..can i breastfeed him..or can I use breast pump.... if i have covid will it go through breast milk please suggest

A. Can breast feed ur baby.. it’s still important to make sure you wash your hands often, avoid coughing or sneezing near your baby. Wear a medical mask during any contact with the baby, including while feeding; Sneeze or cough into a tissue. Then dispose of it immediately and wash hands again; Routinely clean and disinfect surfaces after touching them

A. Hello mom No you can continue feeding your baby if you have Covid then you don’t have to worry about it at all but if you are taking any sort of medication then in such case you have to avoid breastfeeding your baby. In such case you can give formula milk it is the best alternative of mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else till six months
