#asktheexpert Hi Sir, Good day! What is the ideal time for an infant to be able to start hearing/listening and responding against the sound? FYI, my baby boy is 3 months 19 days old and pretty active. Best Regards Anurag

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. Hearing what happened since birth and responding might take some more time, especially because the baby will not have a neck holding but they still react to the sound . If you have a doubt there are tests available for checking
