Q.

#asktheexpert Hi! My son is 8 months old. Since birth water comes from my son’s left eye, with some yellow discharge. Till now I am facing same problem. Can u please help with it?

A. it heals itself by 1 year, but after 1 year no improvement, consult eye specialist. watery eyes are normal condition in early age..baby's tear duct may not have fully developed yet. You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by bathing her eye with cooled boiled water and cotton wool. Do massaging the tear duct area twice or thrice a day. Apply medium pressure with clean index finger to the part of your baby's eye closest to the nose and massage downward, toward the nose.

A. It Mostly is due to tear duct blog do a gentle massage on the nose of your child right in between the eyes that will help in opening the tear ducts and hopefully this issue that you’re facing with your child will come to an end with passing time so try doing this
