#AskTheExpert Hi My LO is 2weeks old..she has congenital hemangioma.. To which specialist should I show this further

A. Hello, most infantile hemangiomas are not anything to worry about. Hemangiomas grow rapidly during the first 6 months or so of life, but usually shrink back and disappear by the time a child is 5 to 10 years old. Need of treatment depends on the site and size of hemangioma. kindly do in touch with your doctor if you are concern.

A. mhello since baby is very very small would be better to first check with your paediatrician and then if required he may advise yo check with a neonatal paediatrician and he will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better
