You can start with home remedies like giving steam inhalation which helps from cold.
avoid direct AC air keep temperature at 26-28 degree.
dry cough syp montair LC kid two times a day as based on weight.
For wet cough can give ascoril LS two times a day
it s a myth that any food item like egg banana ghee can cause cold as cold is an infection.
