Q.

#AskTheExpert hi.. my baby is 2.5 weeks old.. birth weight was 3.100kg .. now its 2.954kg.. still I'm finding it difficult to cross the birth weight.. breastfeeding is the only source for her.. I feed her every 2hrs.. each time I give milk from each side for 30-40mins.. my supply is good too.. I don't know what's wrong.. will there be any reduction in hind milk after 20 mins in same breast? because I could find my breast supplying milk even after 30 mins with good quantity? please help me sort out the issue

A. Hi Sometimes the flow maybe really very good but it is not necessary that the breastfeeding seek enough to meet the needs of the child it would be advisable for you as of now to consult a lactation doctor she will be able to give you much more clarity about this issue
