A. If your baby still has a cold despite using nasal drops, try these additional remedies to help with congestion and relief: ✅ Effective Home Remedies for Baby Cold 1️⃣ Steam Therapy – Sit with your baby in a steamy bathroom (run hot water in a bucket) for 10 minutes to loosen mucus. 2️⃣ Ajwain Potli – Dry roast ajwain (carom seeds) in a cloth and place it near the baby's chest (do not apply directly). 3️⃣ Elevate Head While Sleeping – Keep the baby’s head slightly elevated (by placing a folded towel under the mattress) to help with breathing. 4️⃣ Breastfeeding/Formula – Continue frequent feeds to keep the baby hydrated and boost immunity. 5️⃣ Warm Mustard Oil Massage – Heat mustard oil with garlic and ajwain, cool it, and massage the chest, back, and feet before sleep. 6️⃣ Tulsi Water (If Baby is 6+ Months) – Give a few drops of lukewarm tulsi water to help relieve congestion. 🚨 When to See a Doctor? ❌ Baby has fever above 100.4°F. ❌ Severe cough, wheezing, or difficulty breathing. ❌ Cold lasting more than 10 days. ❌ Baby refuses feeds or looks very weak. Let me know if your baby also has cough or fever so I can suggest the best remedies!
