#AskTheExpert hi mam, my daughter is very short.. she is not of her age height.. also she is underweight.. could you please suggest a suitable diet for her.. my daughter is 4 years 5 months old..

A. Hello! Child must eat balanced meals including all food groups to boost her overall growth and development (height and weight). Please include sweet potato, paneer, ragi, palak, moong sprouts, dahi, almond in her meals. Give her nutrient dense meals - paneer pulao + raita, sprout uttapam + sambhar, cheese frankie + curd dip, ragi nuts pancake for snacks -nuts ladoo, halim kheer, fruit smoothie etc.

A. Foods like potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, dal, ghee, ragi, almonds, yogurt, eggs and milk help the baby to gain weight.
