#asktheexpert Hi mam, my baby is now completed 4th month. now 5th month running er weight is 5.5kg only. Her birth weight is 3kg. completely breast feeding. is her weight is fine or need consultant doctor on this. Only d3 drops giving to her

Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are
Baby not taking enough calories
Baby is not absorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking
Baby isg burning too many calories .
So a proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .
