#AskTheExpert Hi mam... I'm mother of 8 month completed baby girl... I didn't get my periods till now.. Tested pregnancy _negative. Is it normal? Pm

A. in case you are a breastfeeding mom then you can experience irregular periods or amenorrhea till one year due to hormonal fluctuations.. you should always use effective contraceptive methods for child spacing

A. it is fine that after eight months of delivery you still got your cycle started as some may get period started after one year of delivery.. I had my first period after 4months of first delivery and after eight months, after second delivery..
