#AskTheExpert hi mam I have delivered 26weeeks of gestation after delivery I am getting periods every 15days,I have checked the thyroid test its normal y iam getting periods like that

A. mam ididnt get the milk mam so formula feeding to baby baby from 3months onwards baby in nicu incubator now discharge I consulted dr she told tyroid is normal but before pregnancy I have pcod and while pregnancy I have taken progesterone tablets and HCG injection for that iam getting periods with in 15days

A. Hi mom There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers periods are Irregular. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular. Also consult with your doctor for the same.
