#AskTheExpert Hi madam, If mother having thyroid in pregnancy and after birth of baby mother having thyroid. so mother can feed baby or not?

A. yes of course you can continue your breastfeeding to the baby thyroid doesn't affect on that you just need to take your regular medications of thyroid and have proper check up every 3 months and follow up with your doctor for the dose

A. Tyroid is not contagious so you can of course continue feeding the child is no problem at all a lot of women get rid of thyroid as soon as it delivered but with some women it stays but reading the child is never a problem so you should definitely Pead your child
