#AskTheExpert Hi Maa'm, I have taken fetal IVIG in the last month due to the fluctuations in baby's heart rate along with Pericardial effusion, 1st degree heart block. Does it go once baby is born or else should we take treatment once after delivery. currently the heart rate is normal. Could you please provide your suggestion on this

The baby definitely needs to be checked after birth and then the doctors will be monitoring the baby on a regular basis .we cannot leave it unattended after birth without cardiology consultation
