#AskTheExpert hi ma'am I am 4 months pregnant. a week ago my RTPCR test was positive. SpO2 level is 99%. other vitals are stable. Dr did HRCT lungs with abdominal shield 5 days ago, HRCt score was zero. is HRCT lungs safe during pregnancy? I am very much worried 😟😫

A. Don’t worry. Shield does help in reducing the radiation to the baby and by this time the baby will be totally formed so chances of anomalies is less. Still get a scan from a fetal medicine specialist
