#asktheexpert Hi, I'm a mother of 21 months old boy and I want to know how to remove wax from ear of my boy. I have tried using bud to remove but he is not allowing me to do it. Can you please suggest how the wax can be removed ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is not possible for you to clean the wax from inside but yes you can clean it from outside. with the help cotton cloth. you can clean the external ear as well as the wax which has drained outside from the ear. fsor impacted wax drops are available which will be given by your doctor and if they are severely impacted then the doctor will remove it with the help of instruments.
a visit with a spediatrician or a ent doctor is required.
