#asktheexpert hi hello doctor, my son is undergoing Asd syndrome..now he is 3 yrs old..and I'm unable to understand the proper diet for him..he is going for therapies as well .pls help me wat to give nd wat to avoid

A. hello mom you may observe in a period of time, if you could find any particular food that might trigger at times. those foods need to be avoided. in most of the kids with this condition they might be having gut issues, so digestion is quite common problem for them. so we prefer easy to digest foods, avoid packaged, preservative containing foods and sugary foods as well. you can give fruits such as apples, bananas, etc curds or butter milk, though casein and gluten free diet works, but would suggest to try it one at a time, say avoid all wheat , rye, barley grains and products made by it.
