#AskTheExpert Hi, good morning my child got cold very frequently for that we have to rush to doctor in every 1 or 2 weeks. now someone from our family who has medical background suggested us to try homeopathy treatment for child. my concern is , Is homeopathy safe ? can homeopathy give any side effects in future?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. for cold, steam inhalation can be given as the first step to relieve nasal congestion and easy breathing,nasal saline drops like nasomist can also be put in the nose and repeated many a times as it is harmless n helps in clearing blockage .
for proper medication doctor should be consulted as indications of any medicine can be decided only after proper evaluation nd diagnosis.for now you can give maxtra or ascoril flu in proper dose.
