A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and procxessed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. Well kids do not have sufficient amount of water in this age which is why due to dehydration and lack of fibre in the body this can happen so you should also give a fiber diet to the child apart from that you can apply a drop or so of castor oil in the naval of the night before sleeping that also works like natural laxative
