A. Small pimples on a one-month-old baby's face are usually normal and often caused by newborn acne or milia, which result from maternal hormones or immature skin glands. These pimples are harmless, not itchy or painful, and typically clear up on their own within a few weeks. No treatment is usually needed—just gently clean the baby’s face daily with plain water and a soft cloth. Avoid using any creams, oils, or adult skincare products, as they can irritate the skin. If the pimples become red, spread rapidly, or show signs of infection (like pus or swelling), consult a pediatrician.
