#AskTheExpert hi dr namaste... i was gestational pre daibitiec after dait for one week report came normal.. now my baby is 7 months old.. once i get checked hba1c is 5 .60 per centage and estimated avarage glucose is 114 mgdl is it normal or what dr? can I avoid sweets or what to do?? after delivery my wait is decreased 51 to 45 kg .. but feeling fine not tired ntg and hb is 13... having proper food n having fruits and some time sweets too...

A. Get tested for diabetes 6 to 12 weeks after your baby is born, and then every 1 to 3 years. For most women with gestational diabetes, the diabetes goes away soon after delivery.
