#AskTheExpert hi Dr. my daughter is 3yrs 4 month's old. I found her eating plastic toys few days back now she is trying to eat medicine either Alopathic Or homeopathy.. please tell what deficiency she has and medicine if possible. Thank You Sangeeta

Hello ma’am It would mostly be due to the deficiency of calcium or vitamin so it would be better to consult your paediatrician for a proper checkup because for kids it is very normal to try tasting new medicines whether they’re allopathic or homoeopathic because elders are eating it apart from that they do eat sand and mud but that’s definitely due to deficiency of calcium but if your child is eating plastic toys and that’s definitely something to be worried about
