#AskTheExpert Hi Dr. My daughter is 2 months old. She is having white patch on her head. Is it common or do u need to do anything. ?

A. your child is having cradle cap or seborrheic dermatitis. you have to daily apply baby shampofo on the scalp of the child during the bathing. do not apply afny type of oil on the scalp during the daytime but only apply oil at the night time. within one week the cradle cap will disappear. cradle cap is baby dandruff and is a type of fungal infection

A. Cradle cap If you may have heard of this and this is what it is a lot of people get confused with it as done dinner what is not answer of if you clean the scalp regularly and brush it with a soft brush for kids and it is going to go back on its own
